Sports, Fitness & Recreation are critical components of CB&GCW's Health & Wellness Programming. Our programs help with stress management, provide a positive use of leisure time, help improve communication and interpersonal skills, and teach our youth the value of teamwork. Our experienced, passionate and patient coaches ensure that our youth have fun while they are mastering skills in CB&GCW Sports, Fitness & Recreation programs. Triple Play Triple Play is a dynamic wellness program currently offered in Boys & Girls Clubs that demonstrates how eating right, keeping fit and forming positive relationships add up to a healthy lifestyle. The goal of the Triple Play program is to improve Club members' knowledge of healthy habits; increase the number of hours per day they participate in physical activities; and strengthen their ability to interact positively with others and engage in positive relationships. Community Boys & Girls Track Club
CB&GCW is proud to offer the Community Boys & Girls Track Club, where members can get in shape and practice their talents at all types of track and field activities, as well as compete at Track meets all over the state.

Badges for Baseball
Badges for Baseball is a multi-faceted mentoring program that brings the tenets of “The Ripken Way” to young people through a variety of programs, including Healthy Choices, Healthy Children and baseball/softball themed activities. Most importantly, law enforcement mentors work directly with youth to enhance the lessons of “The Ripken Way” while providing young people with new opportunities to learn, grow, and make positive choices for their future. It will feature 100 youth, 6-8 teams, and 2 leagues. Made possible with a generous donation from the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.
Drum & Drill
Our Drum & Drill team teaches our members marching and rhythm, with a strong focus on discipline and fun. Drum & Drill performs their routine in parades and in competition. Drum & Drill won first place in the MLK Parade, and marched in the 2009 Azalea Festival Parade.
Step Team, Divas Dance Team
Our Step Team is for our older members (12 & up), and the Divas Dance team is geared toward our younger members (11 & under). With fun routines and a strong focus on building trust and relationships, our members enjoy exploring their creative sides while keeping active. Practice is every Wednesday from 6pm-7pm.
