Through the generosity of the Links Foundation, the Community Boys & Girls Club began its Media Links Project. The program seeks to introduce Club Teens to the world of print, web and video media by providing them access to industry professionals, as well as hands on learning experiences. The program will introduce youth to journalism, graphic design, web design, photography, video news delivery and editing techniques, and documentary filmmaking.
Program youth will work closely with staff and industry professionals to develop the following:
- Monthly Youth Newsletter
- Weekly Closed Circuit News Show
- A 30 Minute documentary about the Club
- A Media Links Project website that will showcase their work
